ELIGIBILITY
The Torah Va'Avodah Institute is open to all youth who have completed
the 11th grade (Grade 10 in Quebec) and are willing to commit
themselves to the standards of the program. Applicants must be in
good health, and must be available for a personal interview if so
desired. Applicants must be Bnei Akiva members for the year, 2009-
2010. If the applicant is not already a member, membership dues
($25.00 US Funds) must accompany the application. Priority in
acceptance is given to Moshava and/or Mach Hach B’aretz campers and
active Bnei Akiva leaders.
HOW TO APPLY
Please fill out the enclosed application in its entirety. Attach a
$500 (US Funds) check made out to TVI. The recent passport photo is
an integral part of the application. Letters of recommendation should
be sent directly to TVI by the writer. Do not hold the application
waiting for the recommendation. Medical forms will be mailed out in
March. Please note the price adjustment deadlines for this year's
program and ensure your place at TVI by registering early. If you
have any questions, contact your local Bnei Akiva representative or
the camp office in New York.
Please note that TVI is a one month program. Acceptance to second
month TVI Bet programs are dependent on each individual Bnei Akiva
Moshava, have their own separate applications and ARE NOT automatic
if you attend TVI.
COST
The cost of the Torah Va'Avodah Institute is $2,500 when your FULL
payment is completed by April 1, 2009. This fee includes the cost of
the program itself and membership dues for Bnei Akiva of North
America for 5771 (2010-2010). All add-on plane fares to NYC and the
flight to Israel are the responsibility of the camper. For
applications received by December 15, 2009 and accompanied by the
$500 (US Funds) registration fee made out to TVI (NOT Bnei Akiva or
Camp Moshava!), there is a special "early-bird" discount of
$100. Please note that ANY applicant that does not complete FULL
payment by April 1, 2010 will be charged the late payment fee of
$250.00. Half of tuition is due on January 15, 2010. Full tuition is
due April 1, 2010.
Travel arrangements to Israel can be made through TVI. The cost of
the round trip airfare will be approximately $1600.00.

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE PROGRAM
If, for any reason, the applicant should choose to withdraw from the
program after acceptance, the following fees will be retained
according to the date of withdrawal:
