This was the first Mini Mosh to share in the Tisha B'av camp experience and all agreed that it was one of their most meaningful Tisha B'av fasts. In addition to hearing Eichah, davening and Kinot, our parents had the opportunity to join many of the Tisha B'av activities and sheurim going on throughout the day in every Eidah. The rainy weather didn't dampen our Mini Mosh parents' spirits as the weekend continued. They participated in all of the formal and informal educational activities planned for them. Most exciting was the impact of Shabbat Nachamu where the tone of the ruach changed and music filled the camp at a Melave Malka concert on Saturday night. All agreed that the extended weekend experience had exceeded their expectations. While they themselves reluctantly had to say good bye to camp, they left with added confidence and deeper understanding of their own children's special camp experiences.
