As we welcomed out new second month campers, we also welcomed our first Mini-Mosh group for second session. Our group had the unique opportunity to be part of the opening tochnit to introduce this month's theme "Moshevet Yisrael B'Artzo" and to witness the fireworks show! The energy and excitement continued throughout the weekend as we experienced and participated in formal and informal educational experiences, including ropes, the Beit Midrash program with Shani Taragin, discussions with the Mishlachat (the Israeli staff in Camp Moshava) and a discussion with Hillel Kuhr, a camp parent and the camp psychologist, about conflict resolution for kids in camp. Mini-Mosh enjoyed many of our camp activities including drama and archery and even a mini shmutz where we boated, hiked, built tents and even got a fire started in the rain so we could have those iconic burnt marshmallows! The parents all enjoyed the special experience of shabbat in Machane and the unique perspective they gained by being a part of it this weekend!
