Gone Fishing

Eidah Bet boys fished today and caught a fish that they then cooked and ate. Hear them tell of their adventure along with their fishing mentor.

It was a beautiful Wednesday morning like any other in Machaneh Moshava. The sun was shining, a calming breeze was blowing and the Eidah Hey boys were busy giggling themselves into oblivion. As I walked to breakfast I was accosted by three Eidah Gimmel boys saying their mom's threatened to disown them if they didn't get on the website today. I of course obliged them and continued on my way, only to be waylaid by a group of agile Daled girls. The 10 or so of them snuck up behind me and formed a dancing circle around me saying they wouldn't let me through until I took pictures of them, and I, of course, did. After that quick brush with death I was able to make it to the porch only to be ambushed by an adorable group of Eidah Alef campers dressed for a Luau. "Please Mr. Camera Guy, our mommies won't send us packages filled with candy unless you put us on the website" they said. "Fine" I replied, "But only because you're the last obstacle between me and my pancakes".

Kaytana went boating and on their "shmutz".

Eidah Hey also went on a "shmutz". The boys swam across the lake this morning and then hiked to the campsite. The girls hiked there and all ate dinner.

Aleph was still on the "Shmutz 2.0." We visited them just as they were finishing up breakfast, cleaning up and roasting marshmellows.

Eidah Bet went to discovery zone and played sports.

Daled made candles in Melechet Yad and went to high ropes.
