Mazal Tov Daniel on Your Bar MitzvahAfter a beautiful havdalah by the camp band, they continued to play simcha music as Eidot Gimmel and Daled celebrated Daniel's bar mitzvah.
Beads of sweat dripped down the face of an Eidah Aleph boy as he anxiously awaited his parent's arrival. WooSH! A sudden gust of wind gently caught his face as a nearby camper sprinted towards his parents. An abrupt wave of solitude swept over his body as he began to wonder "what if they don't come?" Then all of a sudden, a hint of recognition, a glimmer of hope as he sees a car that looks like his own. The boy jumps to his feet and begins moving quickly towards the familiar vehicle. Could it be them? YES! He sees his Eema and Abba in the front seats and he redoubles his pace. The parents get out of the car, the boy leaps… SQUISH! Hugs and kisses are exchanged and Eema wipes one single tear from the boy's face. "Why are you crying" Eema inquires, "we brought you everything on your list".
