Camp was buzzing with activity today as everyone rushed to do as many malachot as they could before Shabbat. Kaytana had a relaxing day in camp playing sports, as the excitement from yesterday's day at "Claws and Paws" zoo wore off. Eidot Alef and Hey had their inter-Eidah games while recouperating from their incredible day at Dorney Park yesterday. Eidah Bet meanwhile took a detour to beach lake for some delicious ice-cream on their way back from their Chutz. The older Eidot, Gimmel and Daled, were barely able to control their excitement for Shabbat as they whirled through their swimming, sports and many other activities. The counselor's today set a great Dugma Ishit by donating blood on camp grounds.

Kaytana Visits Claws and Paws

What actually happens when Moshava Campers go to Dorney park? Today, this Camera Guy is proud to say, I have the answer (and the pictures to!). It started out like a regular Thursday here in Machaneh. The campers woke up to the nice Jewish music and some of the traditional Mosh early morning "make aliyah" propaganda. Then it was off to davening and breakfast. But wait! What's this? Sandwich bags on a Thursday? "Hurrah!" shouted some of the more enthusiastic campers, its Dorney Day! The excitement was palpable as we orderly boarded the buses with no running or shouting whatsoever. When we arrived the campers could barely contain themselves as they jumped out of their seats and formed neat single file lines with their groups into the park. From then on it was all a blur of huge roller coasters, tiny spinning teacups and of course Dippin' Dots ice-cream. There were games to be played, rides to be ridden. Nobody had time to slow down for a quick picture for their parents. Enjoy, for the first time ever, Dorney Park pictures, brought to you by the website team.
