A typical day in machane begins with Tfillah, breakfast and then
mifkad, where each division gathers for a review of the news
(as in sports scores), eidah announcements, morning exercise, and
eidah chants, songs and games.
Here's a sneak peak at Eidah Hey and Aleph during mifkad
This is followed by bunk clean-up (nikayon), inspection, shiurim, and scheduled activities.
Eidah Hey campers enjoyed a busy day in swim, teva (nature), drama, art, hockey
softball and dance. Click on any of the images below for more pictures from Eidah Hey.
Eidah Aleph enjoyed climbing and low ropes, music, beach volleyball, tennis, hockey archery, teva and swim.
Aleph girls caught a frog today (hiding in the pail)!

Eidah Bet enjoyed Chavaya Yisraelit, archery, low ropes, art, swim, basketball, dance,
football, nagarut (woodworking) and teva.
With every low ropes activity there is usually a group building exercise. Pictured here are two groups of
Eidah Bet boys in "warm up exercises". Click on the image below to join the fun.

Eidot Gimmel and Daled campers are given the opportunity to join in intramurals or
chugim (specialties) for several hours a week. Today was the first day of chugim for
Gimmel campers.
We caught up with G-4L as they set out on their biking trip
and other Eidah Gimmel campers during basketball, ropes, Chavaya Yisraelit and melechet yad.

Finally, a message from our dedicated team of Chinuch about this month's theme.
Welcome to Moshevet Yisrael B'Artzo! This summer we find ourselves
living in the times of Nivii'm Rishonim (early prophets). Our
programming this summer follows Bnei Yisrael from the crossing of
the Yarden with Yehoshua up to the times of Shlomo.
Along the way, chanichim will encounter a Discovery Zone filled
with activities from the time of Tanach. They will take part in
a Survivor Challenge as shevatim head out to battle. We will learn
about major figures in Niviim. First month has the older eidot
taking part in a Chidon HaTanach and the younger eidot singing
in a Zimriya. There are multi-media presentations, games and contests
going on every few days. We couldn't be more excited about this summer's programming.
