Machal spent three days and two nights at Hickory State Park in Pennsylvannia. On their first day they hiked to do an orienteering exercise where small groups of chanichim had to navigate their way in the forest to find flags. One of the groups successfully found all 15 flags.

In the evening they went to the campsite, had fire groups to cook dinner and a kumsitz.

The following morning after davening and shiurim Machal hiked for two hours to Boulders Field, which is left over from the Ice Age. After lunch they hiked to a waterfall and enjoyed the refreshing water.

The final day was spent rafting.
