Every erev Shabbat the entire camp stands in the Hebrew letter "chet" formation. At this time the Rosh Mosh and her staff review the week's activities, announce the scores for cleanup- discuss the monthly topic and convey a dvar Torah. On Sunday many chanichim couldn't wait to recieve their Harry Potter Books at mail time. Featured are Eidot Hey, on their brooms and reading. Other Eidah Aleph and Bet chanichim were contented to receive letters and packages from home,

In the afternoon Eidah Gimmel prepared to leave on a hike to Beach Lake.

Eidah Daled girls attended chavaya yisraelit where they learned about the Israeli army from the mishlachat.

As an introductory activity to their summer adventures Machal hiked to Beach Lake on Friday. The three hour hike through the hills of Pennsylvania culminates in a refreshing stop for kosher ice cream and drinks. Machal returned by bus and prepared for Shabbat.

Machal joined the rest of machane at mifkad. They entered with their usual fanfare and upbeat spirit. To sample their Machal chant click on the video below.
