Week two of Moshevet Hatenuah is dedicated to Torah V’Avodah. Part of the Bnei Akiva philosophy is that a person should professionally contribute towards the community. The day started with a video portraying this idea. We learned about Shevet Yuval in Israel, a division of Bnei Akiva dedicated to incorporating developmentally challenged youth into the tenuah.
During the course of the day, each eidah participated in Israel Action Day where they practiced the concept of Torah V’Avodah in different workshops.
