Eidah Daled left for their chutz today, or otherwise affectionately
called in "Moshava speak", their Schmutz.
The Moshava shmutz is not your regular overnight. Kids build
everything – a kitchen, beit Knesset, hammocks, and of course,
tents.
Click on the image below to see a video of the chanichim building their tents.
In keeping with the theme and learning about Pre-state Palestine,
they were also busy building a Chomah (stockade) and Migdal (tower), a
type of collective settlement and built as a stronghold to withstand
Arab attacks during the British Mandate This will be featured in the
skit tonight at the camp site.
