The purpose of this activity is to familiarize campers with the
geography of Eretz Yisrael. Pictured in one activity is a
huge map of Israel. Campers are split into two teams. Each team is
given a set of challenges to complete.
Some examples include: Identify 5 sites of Jewish heroism, and
have 2 people visit each of them; Visit 5 cities from Tanach and
divide your team among them; Deliver fresh eggs from Kibbutz
Yavneh to Kibbutz Ketuna (egg and Spoon race); Stand in the Chula
valley and as a team, drain the swamps there (squeeze out all
sponges until dry).
In the second activity campers completed a puzzle map of Israel
and then must complete a blank map.
In the third activity campers played games about the fruits of
the land.
