Shabbat in Machane is always a special experience here in
Moshava. Every Friday, an hour before Shabbat begins, the entire
machane, dressed in blue and white, gathers on the main migrash
(commons) for mifkad.
The Rosh Moshava begins with a review of the activities of the week, announces the winning bunks for clean-up, and delivers a D’var Torah.
There is also a skit connected to the theme.
Towards the end, Machal dances in to join the rest of the machane for
the Hatikvah and the Bnai Akiva anthem
