The day was filled with a wide variety of activities. There were sports events, swim meets, chidon, fishing and a Hebrew speaking only meal in the chadar ochel. In the afternoon all the eidot participated in the apache relay that includes 57 separate and sometimes wacky events.
Washing someone's hair
Eating chocoloate pudding
At 5pm we had a Daglanut competition where the teams presented an original flag choreography complete with gymnastics.
In the evening after maariv the whole camp got together in the chadar ochel for the team presentations.
The evening was hosted by two entertaining MC's who kept the program going at a fast and humorous pace...
Each team presented frames for "Al Hamichiaya"
and then performed stomp.
The judges were comprised of Roshei Eidot and other Tzevet
Next up was an Israeli song - Malchut sang "Yehiya tov" and Kehuna sang "Pitom Kam Adam"
The shelet - or banner
The choir sang original songs with harmony.
The last event was the team song
While the scores were being tallied everyone sang this years camp song "mimaamakin"
The scores were announced and team Kehuna, blue, was the winner by the closest margin yet. Don't they say that every year?
