Erev Shabbat Mifkad

Every Friday before Shabbat, the entire camp, dressed in blue and white, gather on the main migrash (field) for mifkad.

Machal dances in with great enthusiasm and waving the Israeli flag and the Rosh Moshava, Chana Spiegelman, recounts the events of the week.

Usually, there is a skit introducing the theme of the week.

Mifkad closes with the singing of the Bnai Akiva anthem
and Hatikvah and Shabbat is ushered in.
