The Ropes Course
One of the most enjoyable peulot (activities) in camp is
the ropes course. Led by some of our energetic mishlachat staff (staff from Israel),
campers continue to reach new heights! |
 |
In each activity there is a goal, which involves group cooperation and strategizing.
| Here the boys are lined up behind a string. They have to figure out a way
to get a jug of water over to the besieged residents of Yerushalayim (who are located at the wooden
crate). All they have is a rope, which they have to reach. |
 |
 |
One camper finds lanyard in his pocket- thinking maybe
they can grab the rope with that. Nope! Doesn’t work.
Some campers try to jump to the rope but they fall to the ground (which disqualifies them).
The group decides that one camper must sacrifice himself to get the rope for the others, so that they can reach Yerushalayim. |
The experts tell us that there is another way to achieve this
goal- without sacrificing anyone. Stay tuned....

Here the group has to work together to bring everyone to the other side.

And climbing Israel is always a favorite!
