Every Friday right before Shabbat, the entire Machane, including visitors, gather in the shape of a Chet
on the main migrash for Mifkad, wearing blue and white. Mifkad begins with the Rosh Moshava calling the entire camp to attention by telling them to stand at Dom (attention).
The Rosh Moshava then recounts every day of the week and tells the camp about each Eidah’s activities.

However, this Friday as the rain still continued
to pour Mifkad was moved indoors to the Beit Knesset.

|
Eidah Hey had their shmutz this week and Eidah Aleph
built the Negev city of Arad. Everything seemed to be going smoothly, until
it was time to tell over what Eidah Bet did this past week. Eidah Bet began
cheering. This week in Inter-Eidah games they beat Eidah Gimmel in Hockey.

|
Eidah Daled sported their new mascot Spiderman with his
solid muscles. |

|
The theme of this weeks Mifkad was the Lord of the
Rings. The ring represented the ideals of Religious Zionism and instead of destroying
the ring each Chanich was given a ring to remind them of their duty to spread the ideals
of Religious Zionism. |

As Mifkad began to come to an end, Rabbi Rosenfield the
camp Chessed coordinator told over stories of Chessed that campers participated in this past week.
|
Mifkad ended with the campers standing up for Yad Achim,
the movment anthem of Bnaei Akiva, followed by Hatikva.
