Daf Yomi

All month long we have been focusing on chesed. This week’s theme is individual “chasadim” and how each person’s kindness makes a difference. We were greeted at lunch by a reminder that when you smile the whole world smiles with you. So smile!

Due to the rain all of the activites were indoors.

Eidah Hey played GaGa,

and at night had Talent Night.

Eidah Aleph videotaped plays in their bunks,

and then had a Night at the Oscars.

Eidah Bet had a peula with the ropes tzevet.
They were not allowed to walk on the ground only on the puzzle pieces.

Eidah Gimmel did some culinary architecture with marshmallow
fluff and graham crackers.

As a continuation of the Honesdale cemetery project, Eidah Daled was privileged to listen to Bill Roos, whose family was one of the first Jewish families to settle in Honesdale, and to Henry Skier, a prominent member of the Honesdale Jewish community.

After dinner there was singing and dancing in the chadar ochel.
