During color war Eidah Hey had a mock Upsherin for their Rosh
Eidah Ari Gordon. Ari asked questions about Israel and those campers who
answered correctly were offered the scissors to cut off a lock that was
tied with a rubber band.
The Chaninchim really enjoyed watching Ari lose his hair.
And we like his new doo!
On Shiva Asar B’Tammuz the chanichim had a special Jewish
Identity peula entitled, “Who is a Jew.” The chaninchim
were presented with three different types of “Jews” and it was
up to them to decide who they thought was really acting the way a Jew should
behave.
