The week began looking gloomy for Eidah Daled as they were told that if the
rain didn't stop, their trip to Hershey Park would be canceled. Their trip
day passed and the rain still did not let up and they were told that they wouldn't
be able to go at all. This prompted one of the few times in Camp Moshava history
that an Eidah-Wide rally was staged and successful. Eidah Daled rallied outside
the RML for their trip, and later wrote a petition to Channah.
At dinner time Channah announced that Eidah
Daled would have their trip after all. She mentioned that it was the first
time that not only was the Eidah in question united, but all the other
Eidot stood behind them as well.
Before they would leave to the land of Chocolate
they still had plenty of activities scheduled for the rest of the
day. First the boys had basketball.
While the girls had Chavayat Yisrael.
Then as part of the day's Yom Yisrael
theme, Eidah daled participated in all the special activities of the day
that taught them about Israeli culture.
As nightfall began to arrive the Chanichim of Eidah Daled got to throw
pies in each other's faces as part of their evening peulah.
Then it was off to bed early so that they would
be ready for their big trip to Hershey Park the next day.
