This past week in honor of this month’s theme (knissah
la’aretz, entry of the land), Eidah Aleph had a day in which they
“conquered Yericho.” On that day, they built walls and they
experienced what life was like living inside a wall.
On Tuesday, the eidah had a baking activity with Beverly,
the camp baker. They baked all kinds of cookies.
Some of the eidah participated in a drama chug where they
were doing skits in memory of Ilan Ramon A”H.
The Eidah also participates in chavaya Israelit, a hands on
experience of making Israeli food.
Every day, the eidah has coed shiurim, where they
learn interesting stories, incidents, and lessons from Tanach- some to be
applied today.
