Yom Hannah Senesh - Maccabiah

On Sunday morning, July 7th, the whole camp went down to the basketball courts supposedly to get a camp picture taken. Surprisingly, though, four parachutists landed in front of their eyes. This was in memory of Channah Senesh, who was a heroic paratrooper during World War II. These paratroopers started the Maccabiah 2002.

When the paratroopers landed, they gave out the Maccabiah sheets with the teams and colors. This year the teams are Tammid (blue) and Chaddash (yellow).

As the day progressed, people started becoming more and more involved in maccabiah. They went to team meetings and joined in activities and sports like basketball and baseball.
