One of the most powerful experiences in camp is the beginning of T’isha B’Av.
Hundreds of campers follow in a candle-lit procession as they are joined by staff
singing slow songs and walking down a path to the boys courts. There the campers hear
Eichah being read, with explanations of the kinot and events in Jewish history, and they
continue discussions afterwards on topics related to T’isha B’Av. Click
