Maccabiah broke out Sunday night after dinner in the hadar ochel. The two teams
were Ariel and Zion. Each bunk was assigned to a team. Ariel’s color was gold and Zion was silver, meaning yellow or grey clothing. They took turns decorating the hadar ochel.
Campers painted their faces, dressed up as mascots,
and became very involved in their team’s spirit.
On Tuesday there was a “mifkad” for the camp where the
teams presented their signs, and creations.
