This was the first shmutz (overnight) for many campers and
Moshava's shmutz's are not your usual overnights!
Not only did "Eidah heyers" pitch tents, but they built hammocks,
chairs and tables, swings, a volleyball net, a Beit Knesset and
mud brick ovens!

learned about the Chomah Umigdal defense strategy used in 1947 to
defend Jewish settlements. Pictured here are campers involved in
