Kibbutz Day

This past Friday campers were treated to a hands-on tour of a Kibbutz. Set up across one of the ballfields in Moshava, campers toured the Refet (dairy barn) and learned how to milk a cow, visited a Pardes (orchard) and had fun in an apple-eating contest, learned how to build tents
(and how the chalutzim --pioneers--lived), decorated kibbutz hats, visited with a family on kibbutz, completed a giant word search game about Kibbutz HaDati, and played games in the Beit Hayeled (day care). This fun-filled, day-long program was organized and led by Moshava's staff from Kibbutz HaDati.
