FIRST SESSION FOR SUMMER 2024 IS FULL!


July 1 – Shiva Asar B’Tammuz

We had an amazing first Shabbat in camp with inspiring Tefila, singing, dancing, learning and special Chinuch activities.   Below you will find pictures from Friday afternoon Mifkad and Havdalah. Remember: you can always see previous days’ pictures in on our FIRST SESSION CALENDAR page!

Today we had special programming for Shiva Asar B’Tammuz.

EIDAH HEY

Eidah Hey had a special Chinuch peulah (activity) called “My Israel”. In this creative art activity, the chanichim had a brief discussion about places in Israel that they connect to and important events that happened in those locations. Then they created maps of Israel using a variety or art supplies to reflect how they personally connect to the Land.

EIDAH ALEPH

EIDAH BET & GIMMEL

In a multi-media program called “What Would You Do?”, chanichim were given ethical dilemmas and discussed how they would handle these scenarios. We talked about the coming three weeks and small actions we can take to elevate ourselves from good to great!

MACHAL

Machal had a wonderful first Shabbat in camp! Last night they had a meaningful all-night learning program for Shiva Asar B’Tammuz with shiurim from our outstanding Beit Midrash tzevet.
