Eidah Hey One Session PolicyLETTER TO PARENTSDear Parents of Potential Campers – Presently in 3rd or 4th Grade: I hope this note finds you well. After many years of experience, we have come to the conclusion that children presently in 3rd or 4th grade who are eligible for our Eidah Hey thrive when they come for one session but often have significant difficulties second session if they attempt to remain the full season Camp is certainly a wonderful place where campers can have a wonderful time and grow in a variety of ways. Yet, the demands of group living over protracted periods of time can take a toll on some children, especially the younger children. Therefore, we have instituted a policy (which we tested last year) that Eidah Hey participants may ONLY attend one session. Full season for Eidah Hey age campers is no longer an option even if they have siblings in camp for the full season. We are sure that you will agree with us that we want to ensure that our campers have a truly positive, "awesome" experience in Camp Moshava. As younger children have numerous opportunities in the future to attend camp for the whole summer, their first experiences should be for one outstanding month. Please contact the office immediately to let us know which month we should check off on your child's application. If you are flexible which month your child can attend, please say either month is OK as it is very helpful to us when we begin considering new camper applications in the beginning of November. Sincerely,
Alan Silverman
