Camping has truly become an essential part of the educational experience of our children.
As you well know, Moshava prides itself on helping each camper to develop a better appreciation for the beauty and values of the Jewish Orthodox tradition, leading to more meaningful understanding and learning, observance and practice. We teach applied lessons about social responsibility, Jewish History and tradition. We also develop a love for Israel and a desire to live in the State of Israel. Moreover, we do this while helping each camper foster an enhanced self-concept through the development of skills, responsibility, self-awareness and group membership.
Especially in light of the difficult economic times that we are experiencing, MOSHAVA HAS ONLY RAISED ITS TUITION FOR FIRST SESSION FOR NEXT SUMMER. We have kept second session the same as the past two years and significantly LOWERED the price of full season. Moshava wants to ensure that deserving campers can participate in this special, unique, educational experience regardless of their parent’s financial abilities. Therefore, we are requesting that parents make a $250.00 voluntary contribution to the Scholarship Fund as part of the tuition process. Of course, any amount donated towards our scholarship program will be greatly appreciated.
We are confident that our combined efforts will ensure that children, who otherwise could not afford to attend Moshava, will enjoy our distinctive educational experience. In addition to supporting local families in need of assistance, Moshava has also been hosting children from Israel from a variety of areas and backgrounds where the unique experience we provide truly makes a difference in their lives.
